To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council:
1) approve a grant of a pedestrian access easement on Charlestown Place from Union Square RELP D2.2 Owner, LLC (“Union Square RELP”) to the City for the purpose of pedestrian access as further specified in the easement; and
2) approve a grant of easements over certain alleys located in the D2.2 parcel known as Milk Alley, Bennett Court and Charlestown place for public access to bike lanes, bicycle parking and access to the MTBA station, as well as vehicular access as further specified in the easement; and
3) approve a grant of license from the City to Union Square RELP for performing maintenance obligations in connection with the sidewalk on Charlestown Place.
