To the Honorable City Council:

 

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept and approve expending a Parkland Acquisitions and Renovations for Communities (PARC) grant of $375,224 from MA Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) to the Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development Public Space and Urban Forestry Division, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds.Matching funds totaling $1,500,000 have already been appropriated by this Council.

 

The purpose of this grant is to pay for the renovation and construction of the Henry Hansen Park.
