To the Honorable City Council:
I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council consider and approve allowing the following City Employees be able to work the local city election on November 7, 2023: Orsola Susan Fontano, John Caruso, Mary White, Robin Moore, Julia Bowers-McClain, Jean Alix Simeon, Salma Sheikh, Janelle Hodgdon and Lois O'Brien.
In order for a municipal employee to have a financial interest in a City contract, the City Council must approve an exemption under G.L. c. 20(b) of the conflict of interest law.
My staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
