To the Honorable City Council:

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve the transfer of $32,000 from the Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development Housing Division Personal Services Account, Salaries Line to the Office of Sustainability and Environment Personal Services Account, Salaries Line to transfer the clean green program manager position to the Office of Sustainability and Environment.

This transfer will allow OSE to provide direction and appropriately scale high-demand, community wide residential energy efforts to meet Somerville's health, housing, and climate objectives, while allowing the Housing Division to focus on scaling up federally funded, income qualifying, housing retrofit programs.
