Please see the following related to naloxone doses administered:
This fiscal year through February (7/1/22 - 2/28/23), there were 99 suspected opiate-related overdoses / illnesses. In 50 of those incidents, Narcan was administered. This does not represent all overdoses, only opiate related.
For comparison, over the same period the year prior (7/1/21 - 2/28/22), there were 100 suspected opiate-related overdoses / illnesses. In 66 of those incidents Narcan was administered.
Over the full year of FY22 (7/1/21 - 6/30/22), there were 157 suspected opiate-related overdoses / illnesses and Narcan was administered in 102.
Total FY22 numbers are significantly elevated compared to prior years. The previous 5 year totals ranged between 103 - 137.
