To the Honorable City Council:

 

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council appropriate $89,332,819 in order to fund the Poplar Street Pump Station project interim guaranteed maximum price (IGMP) 1 and 2 for the construction manager at-risk (CM@R). IGMPs 1 and 2 include but are not limited to soil excavation and disposal, storage tank installation, pump house equipment, force main, site borings, site preparation, pump house construction, and influent screening equipment. To meet this appropriation, the Treasurer will be authorized to borrow $89,332,819 as provided by MGL Chapter 44. Debt service will be paid from the Sewer Enterprise Fund.
