To the Honorable City Council:

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve the supplemental appropriation of $500,000 to the Salary Contingency, Salaries Account. The supplemental appropriation will help fund the creation of mid-year positions, recommendations from the Work Better Task Force, and various collective bargaining matters.  Appropriations relating to these matters will be presented to your Honorable City Council at a later point in the fiscal year.

Appropriate staff will be available to address any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this item.
