To the Honorable City Council:
The City Staff to the Memorialization Committee respectfully conveys to this Council that at the October 26th 2022 meeting, the committee voted to name the new park that is part of the 346 Somerville Ave/Lake Street development in honor of Martha Perry Lowe, 1829-1902, esteemed poet, social activist and organizer.
Appropriate staff will be available to answer any questions you may have.
