To the Honorable City Council:

I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council accept and approve expending a grant of $73,101.60 from Metro North Workforce Board to the HHS, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant requires some level of matching funds but not from the city. The match will be provided by Groundworks. The purpose of this grant is to pay for youth employment opportunities and skills development for high-risk youth.
