That the proposed Charter be amended relative to the inclusion of the Chief Administrative Officer as a Charter office by inserting a new section placing the question on the ballot.

SECTION ##. The city clerk shall cause the following question to be placed on the official ballot to be used in the city of Somerville at the next regular municipal election to be held on November 4, 2025 or the next regular municipal election at which the city can comply with the applicable Commonwealth’s ballot requirements: Shall the office of Chief Administrative Officer be included in the Charter of the city of Somerville?

SECTION ###. Section ## shall take effect upon acceptance by the majority of the voters of the city voting in the affirmative and the charter shall be amended in the sections relating to or referencing the Chief Administrative Officer.
