To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council confirm the appointment of Brad Bortner as a member of the Council on Aging, Board of Directors.
This appointee will fill a vacant position.
Mr. Bortner holds an MBA from Yale and has spent a career in marketing and strategy, leveraging market insights research to drive effective change. Mr. Bortner holds experience regarding the varied financial, social, and medical aspects of aging and the different perceptions held surrounding what successful aging means. Mr. Bortner's focus is on aging gracefully and in place, and how the board can use market research to drive change in our community.
