That the Legislative Matters Committee work with the City Solicitor to prepare a home rule petition to amend the city charter by removing the restriction that registered voters may only sign nomination papers for only one candidate for each municipal office and four for alderman at large by deleting the language in the charter that requires nomination papers state "and that we have not subscribed to more nominations of candidates for this office than there are persons to be elected."
