To the Honorable City Council:

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council petition the Massachusetts Department of Transportation under M.G.L Ch90 Sec. 18 to modify the posted speed limit on State Route 16 in Somerville. The Director of Mobility will prepare and submit the necessary documentation on behalf of the City to effectuate the petition.
