To the Honorable City Council:

I hereby request permission to appear before the City Council in executive session pursuant to G. L. c. 30A, Section 21(a)(3) to discuss the proposed settlement of a pending claim from Skipton Kennels.  Discussion in the open session of the  council meeting may have a detrimental effect on the City of Somerville's negotiating position.
