Request to Create a Street Tree Stabilization Fund

To the Honorable Board of Aldermen:

I respectfully request that your Honorable Board vote to authorize the creation of a Street Tree Stabilization Fund, under the provisions of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40, Section 5B.  This stabilization fund will be used to accept gifts, donations and mitigation to be used for the installation of street trees, including the removal of existing dead trees to facilitate the planting of new trees. 

OSPCD staff will be available to respond to any questions you may have.
