To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request that your Honorable Board appropriate $250,000 from the Capital Stabilization Fund for use by the IT Department to complete the second year (FY2019) of the pre-approved hardware refresh schedule.

The second year refresh includes 166 workstations located in Somerville City Hall (estimated cost $185,000 to $190,000) and 10 network switches (estimated cost $60,000) for an approximate total cost between $245,000 and $250,000.
