Dear Honorable Board Members:

In accordance with General Laws Chapter 30B, section 15, I hereby request your approval to declare the following vehicles as surplus:

1994  Ford Crown Victoria  VIN: 2FALP71W5RX166068  Mile: 94014   Former Police Vehicle

1994  Ford Crown Victoria  VIN: 2FALP71W7RX166072  Mile: 59804   Former Police Vehicle

1994  Ford Crown Victoria  VIN: 2FALP71W8RX166047   Mile: 154250   Former Police Vehicle

1998  Ford Explorer            VIN: 1FMZU35P3WZB78214  Mile: 142400

These vehicles are no longer of any use to the Somerville Fire Department or any other city department.  Upon approval of this request, the Purchasing Department will explore options to dispose or sell the vehicles under applicable law.
