To the Honorable Board:

I am submitting the attached Climate Emergency Resolution for your consideration.  While the issue of Climate Change is one that reaches beyond the borders of our city, I believe that only through the efforts of many governments and individuals will we be able to make the changes that are needed to reverse the impacts of Climate Change.  To maintain our leadership role on this issue, I am seeking to convene the Climate Summit called for by this Resolution
