To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request that your Honorable Board accept a grant of $34,200 from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to the Arts Council, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to re-grant the funds to artists, schools, and organizations through the Council's Local Cultural Council grant program.
