To the Honorable City Council:

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept and approve expending a grant of $48,612.38 from FEMA to the Fire Department, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant requires matching funds of $4861.24 from the city. Funds for the match will be provided from the current Fire Department Budget Special Items - Grant Match 0122060-558020.

The purpose of this grant is to pay for the purchase of high visibility jackets.
