To the Honorable Board:

The City of Somerville has received a donation from D&R General Contracting, Inc., in the amount of $10,000 to be used to support community initiatives, programs and events sponsored by the City of Somerville.                     

In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 44, section 53A, which requires a vote of the Board of Aldermen for the expenditure of grants or gifts from the federal government, a charitable foundation, private corporation, or an individual or from the Commonwealth, a county or a municipality or agency thereof,  I request that you accept these donations.
