To the Honorable Board:

I hereby convey to the Board of Aldermen that the City of Somerville will be kicking off a new 5 year planning cycle related to the allocation and administration of its HUD Community Development Grant programs. The plan will cover program year 2018-2022 and the following entitlement grant programs: CDBG, HOME Investment Partnership, and Emergency Solutions program. An approved 5 Year Action Plan is a federal requirement for receipt of these. I look forward to engaging with the honorable Board on this process.
