To the Honorable City Council:

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept and approve expending a gift of $1050.00 from Tufts University Technology Support Center (TTS) Department to the Council on Aging, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This gift does not require the commitment of new matching funds.

The purpose of this gift is to help reduce the cost of a catered luncheon for older residents of Somerville.

Appropriate staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this item.
