To the Honorable Board:

Per the Community Preservation Committee’s recommendation on April 28, 2016, I respectfully request that your Honorable Board appropriate $140,000 for the Engineering Department of the City of Somerville to contract a firm to repave the Somerville Community Path from the Cambridge line to the grassy circle, from Thorndike St. to Buena Vista St, and from Grove St. to Cedar St. The appropriation will be allocated to the Open Space and Recreational Land CPA category and funded from the CPA Fund Open Space and Recreational Land Reserve. Details of this request are available in the attached funding recommendation from the CPC.
