To the Honorable Board:

I hereby request, subject to the approval of your Honorable Board, an appropriation in the amount of $30,000 for renovations to the old Union Square Firehouse located at 90 Union Square and authorization for the City Treasurer, with the approval of the Mayor to borrow $30,000 to meet said appropriation.

To meet said appropriation, the Treasurer will be authorized to borrow $30,000 as provided by M.G.L. Chapter 44.
