To the Honorable City Council:

I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council accept a grant of $2,250 from the Mass Cultural Council to the Arts Council, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to support the Council's operational support and programming to artists.

My staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank your for your consideration of this item.
