To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request that your Honorable Board accept a grant of $30,000 from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection to the Office of Sustainability & Environment, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to pay for additional equipment and an implementation program for recycling in Somerville schools.
