The Director of Transportation and The Director of Traffic and Parking provide this Board with information regarding two Mass DOT bridge reconstruction projects and the potential negative impacts on increased vehicular traffic in Wards 1 and 2 in particular, the projects being Craigie Street drawbridge at Leverett Circle and O'Brien Highway (Mass DOT project # 604421 early action stage and # 604361) and the Longfellow Bridge project (project # 605530) including whether Mass DOT has contacted the city to discuss impacts, routing of traffic and mitigation of negative impacts to residential areas in Somerville.
