Be it hereby known to all that the Somerville

Board of Aldermen offers its sincerest commendations to

Karen Harrington

Who has recently retired after more than 30 years of dedicated service to the City, primarily in the Recreation Department.

Karen distinguished herself as a champion for young women in competitive athletics, and will long be known for her passionate advocacy for recreational activities for the young and old alike: Truly the Heart of the Highlanders.

The Membership offers its best wishes for a fulfilling

retirement and ongoing success in all endeavors.
