To the Honorable City Council:
I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council accept a grant of $117108.00 from The Executive Office of Elder Affairs to the Council on Aging, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to pay for programming, transportation, salary, equipment and other needs of the elderly.
My staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank your for your consideration of this item.
