To the Honorable City Council:

 

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve to establish a Grant Match Account with a $15,000 transfer from the Health and Human Services - Department of Veterans' Services - Grounds Maintenance Account (0154352-524001) to the Health and Human Services - Department of Veterans' Services - Special Items Account to meet the grant match requirement from the Massachusetts General Court and the State Historical Records Advisory Board Grant. The purpose of the grant is to pay for supporting the Somerville Veterans Memorial Cemetery and Archival Digitization project. The grant was approved by this Council on February 26, 2026 as item 26-0113.
