To the Honorable Board:

I hereby request, subject to the approval of your Honorable Board, a transfer in the amount of nine  hundred seventy six thousand, four hundred sixty nine dollars ($976,469.00) from the Salary Contingency Account to the Police Department, Personal Services Account for the purpose of funding the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Somerville and the Somerville Police Employees Association (SPEA/ Patrol Officers) for the period July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2012.

The transfer funds the settlement through June 30, 2012.
