To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council confirm the appointment of Tania Medeiros Romanoff as a member of the Council on Aging Board of Directors.
This appointee will fill a vacant position.
Ms. Medeiros Romanoff has dedicated her career to the aging in our community. Ms. Medeiros Romanoff holds a certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has an extensive background working with the aging population. Most recently she has been employed as a case manager supporting elders at home, in assisted living facilities and throughout their hospice treatment. Ms. Medeiros Romanoff has worked with elders throughout the aging process and has a deep understanding of the supports and resources needed both to successfully age in place and to continue to be thriving members of our community. Ms. Medeiros Romanoff has a strong background in supporting caregivers and providing support to entire family units to aid in the successful aging process.
