To the Honorable Board:
Board Order #193331…That the Director of Traffic and Parking evaluate the intersection of Kenwood Street and College Avenue to determine if there are dangerous site line visibility issues when exiting Kenwood Street onto College Avenue.
• Traffic and Parking reviewed the intersection of Kenwood St and College Ave. Kenwood Street at College Ave, while not having optimal sight lines, does have adequate sight lines for vehicles exiting Kenwood St onto College Ave. A slight improvement of sight lines could occur if parking restrictions were authorized on the west side of College Ave north and south of Kenwood St. However, sight line improvements would be minimal and result in a net decrease in available parking supply in an already heavily congested area. Traffic and Parking will forward the item to the Traffic Commission for consideration.
