To the Honorable Board of Aldermen:

I respectfully request that your Board move to appropriate $70,966 from the Capital Stabilization Fund to fully match the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant monies secured by the MBTA and administered by Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) made available to the City of Somerville for the purposes of establishing a Bike Share System. The matching amount was confirmed in an MOA between the City of Somerville and MAPC dated March 28, 2012.
