To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request an appropriation of seventeen thousand dollars ($17,000) from Unreserved Fund Balance ("Free Cash") to the Finance Department -Auditing Division, Accounting & Auditing Professional Services, to pay our outside Auditing Firm, Powers & Sullivan, for specialized forensic auditing services rendered in connection to an investigation of financial transactions at the Council on Aging.
