Requesting an appropriation and authorization to borrow $2,475,000 in a bond for LED Light Conversion.

To the Honorable Board:

I hereby request, subject to the approval of your Honorable Board, an appropriation in the amount of $2,475,000.00 for the purchase and installation of LED lights and authorization for the City Treasurer, with the approval of the Mayor to borrow $2,475,000.00 to meet said appropriation.

To meet said appropriation, the Treasurer will be authorized to borrow $2,475,000.00 as provided by M.G.L. Chapter 44.

The LED Conversion Project is part of the City’s Capital Investment Plan.
