That this Council express its support for the attached proposal to "Speed Up Construction, Reduce Harm, and Off-set the Current Impacts to our Communities," by replacing service on the Lowell Commuter Rail Line with bus service during non-peak travel times in order to mitigate disruption to the Somerville and Medford communities and local businesses, reduce the duration of the bridge closures, and speed the completion of the Green Line Extension project, and that this support be communicated to the Mayor, Governor Baker, Somerville's Legislative Delegation, and Secretary of Transportation Stephanie Pollack.
