To the Honorable City Council:

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept and approve expending a three-year grant of $122,681.25 from the Massachusetts Community First Partnership funded by Eversource and National Grid to the Office of Sustainability and Environment, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds.

The purpose of this grant is to pay for additional funding for an Energy Advisor position we currently have in place and provide some additional money for outreach materials.

Respectfully submitted,

Katjana Ballantyne, Mayor
