To the Honorable Board:

Per the Community Preservation Committee’s recommendation on April 28, 2016, I respectfully request that your Honorable Board appropriate $75,000 for the Transportation and Infrastructure Division of the Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development to contract a consultant to conduct a design study for the rehabilitation of the Somerville Community Path, in partnership with the Friends of the Community Path. The appropriation will be allocated to the Open Space and Recreational Land CPA category and funded from the CPA Fund Open Space and Recreational Land Reserve. Details of this request are available in the attached funding recommendation from the CPC.
