To the Honorable City Council:

I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council accep two CARES Act Supplemental grant awards of $1,493,384 in Community Development Block Grant funds and $750,831 in Emergency Solutions Grant funds with no new match required, from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to OSPCD to prepare for, prevent and respond to impacts of Covid-19. , under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds.
