To the Honorable City Council:

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council authorize an increase in the Special Event Revolving Fund Expenditure Limit to $20,000 for FY2026, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53 1/2.

The current authorized limit is $10,000.

The request is due to increased cost for overtime and increased special event activities.

Appropriate staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
