That the Commissioner of Public Works and the Director of Communications direct all cable and phone communication companies to inspect all of their service drops in Ward One to ensure their proper height and to prevent them from drooping, so that they don’t get pulled down by passing vehicles, leading to service interruptions and public safety hazards.  Please inform the Ward One Alderman of the progress and status of this request on a bi-weekly basis; AND BE IT FURTHER ORDERED That these companies remove the lines when they are no longer in use.
