To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request a transfer in the amount of $8,250 from the Salary Contingency-Salaries Account to the Board of Aldermen-Salaries Monthly Account to implement the salary recommendation of the "Classification and Compensation Study for the City of Somerville" conducted by the Edward J. Collins Center for Public Management.

The study recommends a 3% increase for the Board of Aldermen in accordance with the proposed 3% step increase scale.

The adjustment is effective retroactive to July 1, 2012.
