That the Supervisor of Inspectional Services perform the actions listed within to combat the rodent problem in the city.

That the Supervisor of Inspectional Services do the following:

1.                     Declare MacArthur Street one of the experimental areas for the sterilization bait that has proven successful in New York City,

2.                     Strengthen rodent control regulations for demolition and construction projects so that rodent populations are measured, baited and trapped before and during the project, (Current regulations call for one attempt with bait boxes.),

3.                     Improve street cleanup of litter and debris,

4.                     Pursue inspections of property owned by absentee landlords or others not cooperating with the cleanup effort,

5.                     Continue baiting poison boxes in our neighborhoods.
