To the Honorable City Council:

 

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve an amended FY2026 Community Preservation Act (CPA) Fund budget, which has been revised to reflect the 3% surcharge for the full year. This supersedes Council Order 25-1078. The Community Preservation Committee has recommended the appropriation and transfer to reserves of $7,260,181 as follows:

 

1.                     Appropriate $290,407 from estimated FY2026 CPA Fund revenue for Committee Administrative Expenses.

2.                     Transfer $1,306,833 from estimated FY2026 CPA Fund revenue to the Open Space/Recreational Land Reserve.

3.                     Transfer $815,430 from estimated FT2026 CPA Fund revenue to the Historic Resources Reserve.

4.                     Transfer $3,398,211 from estimated FY2026 CPA Fund revenue to the Community Housing Reserve.

5.                     Transfer $726,018 from estimated FY2026 CPA Fund revenue to the Budgeted Reserve

6.                     Appropriate $594,888 from estimated FY2026 CPA Fund revenue to fund the debt service for Community Housing.

7.                     Appropriate $128,394 from estimated FY2026 CPA Fund revenue to fund the debt service for Historic Resources.
