To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request an appropriation in the amount of $500,000 to hire qualified experts to assist the City in developing plans and strategies for the development of the remaining balance of the Assembly Square area and authorization for the City Treasurer, with the approval of the Mayor to borrow $500,000 to meet said appropriation.

My staff will be available to answer any questions you may have.
