To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request an appropriation of $385,000 from Unreserved Fund Balance ("Free Cash") to the following Law Department Accounts in the amounts specified:

Legal Services                                  $205,000

Professional & Technical Services     $180,000

This appropriation is needed to fund outside legal counsel and technical consultant services for ongoing litigation matters.
