To the Honorable Board:

Somerville High School has received a donation from Tufts University in the form of gym machines, valued at $2000.

In accordance with M.G.L Chapter 44, section 53A, which requires a vote of the Board of Aldermen for the expenditure of grants or gifts from the federal government, a charitable foundation, private corporation, or an individual or from the Commonwealth, a country or a municipality or agency thereof, I respectfully request that you accept this donation.

Please find attached the donation letter from Tufts University's Department of Physical Education, Athletics and Recreation, listing the donated items.
