Requesting the appropriation of $17,514,916 to fund the FY 2023 Water Enterprise Fund budget.

To the Honorable City Council:

I hereby submit, subject to the approval of your Honorable Council, an appropriation in the amount of    $17,514,916 to fund the Fiscal year 2023 Water Enterprise Fund Budget. The Water Enterprise Fund Budget is broken down into the attached appropriations in the categories of Personal Services, Ordinary Maintenance, Special Items, Capital Outlay, and Debt Service.

Sufficient revenues shall be raised from charges to meet said appropriation which includes an estimated $713,220 in indirect costs for charges currently carried in the General Fund to support Water Enterprise activities. An appropriation of $748,185 from the Water Capital Projects Stabilization Fund  is planned as another financing source for the FY2023 Water Enterprise Budget.
